Long Tube Headers & Catted X Pipes - Emissions
I really want to add long tube headers & a catted x-pipe to my '07 GT. My concern is I live in southeastern Wisconsin and we have emission test every two years. They only plug into the computer interface and take readings off of the computer, but if I try to have it tested now with a tune (93 from Brenspeed) I fail. I have to put the car back to stock and drive 200 miles before it passes. Does anyone have any suggestions of what set-up might achieve my goal of this install and passing emissions?

You can pass an OBDII test with LT and an O/R midpipe.
There is also no reasons you should pass with the brenspeed tune and your mods....
They most likely have the rear O2's off, and thats why you fail.
Search around, this has been covered a million times.

+1, although I have a 4.0 I have LTs with high flow cats a long with a dyno tune and a supercharger. I had no issues passing emissions a few weeks ago.

I hate you guys. We cant get away with chit like that here. OP you should have no problems passing a computer test with those mods. Like GT07 said you probably are missing the back O2's and that is why you failed.
