Just to clarify, when I say the same tuner, I don't mean brenspeed or american muscle. I mean the same physical tuning device like my sct x3. If I were to get a new tune emailed to me from brenspeed, then I would just load it on the x3 and flash the car, not return to stock tune first.
Boost or Buell, decisions, decisions.

I don't return to stock either. The tuner holds 10 tunes. They want you to return to stock just in case something goes wrong with your tuner when you plug it in to the computer to load tunes. It could update and reset, dropping your stock tune forever if you didnt save it first to the computer. I know...it happened to me.
No need to switch back to stock when changing tunes. However, you should return to stock when updating the firmware on your tuner. Otherwise, you might lose your stock tune if the firmware update fails.

Correct - only return to stock when trying to update the tuner's firmware (which has never worked for me). I've read of it taking 5 hours or more? I always get tired of waiting after 45 minutes of no activity....
I heard that too but my car wont run on the stock tune anymore. Updating my firmware was frustrating as hell. Took me a couple of days and a friends help to finally do the sequence to where it would finally update. POS system IMO.
