Just got a 2013 GT Premium. The Shaker Audio is, as everyone knows bad. But really no one buys a 5.0 based on the audio system. I swapped the speakers - Alpine Type R's on the rear deck and Helix 2 ways in the front doors. Used some matting to quite things a bit. The system sounds a lot better. But now I'm on a quest to fix the sound stage.

Down to 2 options.

1. Install the JBL MS-8 - sounds like this could be a nice add on and a good start for future upgrades - this seems like a pretty clean and quick install. And the system has a lot of setting options.

2. Hand the car over to REUS Audio out of Orange CA and let them install their Mustang upgrade - same one they did on the Mustang RTR Spec 3 by Mothers shown at 2012 SEMA. My wife has a REUS system in her MB C - Class and it does sound good. Two issues, with REUS they pretty much tear the car apart and - I live in Northern Cal so it is a 2 day trip....

I think both options will be a big upgrade. I want to keep the stock head unit in place. Both options meet that goal.

Anyone out there worked with either solution?

Love the ride - hate the audio....

Hi any takers - anyone install the MS-8 ? Also wondering - does anyone make harness adapters for the speaker connector that comes out of the Audio control module. I'm trying to avoid cutting and splicing.

Geez - is it my breath or has no one has worked with the JBL MS-8 - anyone swap the sub's with the Kicker subs in the door?
