Help me decide. 2008 GT Manual or 2012 GT auto

... and the 5.0 only costs a couple thousand more? i'd definitely go for the 5.0 (i was 4.6L manual biased earlier) since its basically a brand new engine.
Hell, if you saved up some extra cash would you be able to locate a manual gearbox for the 5.0? Unfortunately it'd probably run you 3-5k

Another thing to consider is the cost of actually doing the motor swap. Any motor swap, actually any project in general is going to cost you more then you plan. If you would be spending all you have on the 5.0L I would be worried of getting half way done with the swap and finding you had to put it on hold for a few months to save up more funds. If the 4.6l is a swap where you will know you will have a little cushion of cash after you purchase the motor I would go that way and make sure you get everything done within a week or so. The 4.6L will still put a smile on your face and with you Supercharge it..well lets just say that smile gets a little bigger.

As of now I think I have decided to go 4.6 as it will be more cushion money wise and everything else. I'm still looking around for a good priced used gt500 but until then I think I'll do the motor swap.
