ORIGINAL: Professor Wizard

I have the Redlines...

I LOVE them... and the installation really wasn't all that hard, although you do have to drill some tiny holes.

In my case.. I installed them backward.. I wanted them out of the way for side entry into the engine compartment. I noticed other cars at the car show did exactly the same thing.

You can see an example in this pic.

What type of rivet tool does this project require?

Don't own one, but might convince myself this is an excuse to purchase! hehe I see Sears has them for about $10-20 for the riveter.

Is the $10 one good enough, or should I "pony up" [8D] and get a better one?

I bought mine from Pep Boys for $15.00...it worked fine. Now I have a rivet gun and nothing to use it on...lol

If you lived close enough, I'd ask to borrow it "just to help you get your money's worth"

I had no need for a rivit gun prior to getting my struts... but after using it on them... I have ended up using it several other times on some other stuff... pretty handy to have around actually./

I have the Redline Elite (SS model). Can't beat the quality-easy install with great instructions.
