My Build Thread
Hi folks!
I just got home from my deployment and have started my build! Here's a few pictures and a list of what I have going on. Thought you all might be interested!
Appearance
MMD Retro Mirrors
MMD Black Tail Light Trim
MMD Hood Struts
Silver Horse Racing Decklid Panel
Black Turn Signals (front and rear)
GT/CS Rear Bumper
Shelby Terlingua Hood (functional heat extracting vents)
EBay (Spoilerstore) GT500 Spoiler
Legend Front Splitter (purchased from Silver Horse Racing)
Suspension
I will be putting these items on one at a time to gauge how they affect the handling characteristics of the car.
Koni "Yellow" Shocks and Struts
Fays2 Watts Link
J&M Extreme Rear Lower Control Arms
Whiteline Lower Control Arm Relocation Brackets
Brakes
GT500 Brembo package (rotors, calipers, and pads)
J&M Stainless Steel Brake Lines (front and rear)
Wheels/Tires
Forgestar CF5, 18"x9.5", +35 offset, square setup
275/40-18 Nitto 555s
Drivetrain
MGW Short Throw Shifter
Exedy Mach 400 Clutch (with new Throwout Bearing)
I'm sure I've forgotten something, but I'll post it all up anyways. I'll detail why I made my choices as well based on my goals of having a subtle, yet aggressive, Mustang that is oriented more towards performance than appearance.

Legend Front Splitter
Thanks everyone, I'm really excited for how this is turning out!
I put on the Legend front splitter from Silver Horse Racing. This is a very well made piece for being hand made. The texture and color on top matches the plastics very well. It does have a few flaws around the edges and the fit isn't quite OEM, but you can't tell until you really get down and look at it. Really brings the front of the car in line with the rest. The bottom of the front bumper now matches the bottom of the sides. It really completes everything!
It's held on by a number of sturdy bolts. It does require drilling into the front bumper, but it was a piece of cake and very easy to install. Hardest part was removing the bumper to put it on, but I don't think that was necessary. In hindsight, I should have just put the car up on jack stands and used some clamps. Oh well.

MGW Shifter Installed!
Went ahead and put my MGW shifter in! Install was very easy as the video instructions provided were on point. Haven't had a chance to take her for a drive yet, but overall I'm thrilled with the quality. Love the "Made in the USA" stamp. 'MERICA.
