bama usually knows their stuff on the bolt on mods, intakes, gears, exhaust, all pretty easy to tune for when they have done thousands and have their own cars+dyno to baseline it off of.
If you feel the tune is slightly off you can always request a new one, maybe even datalog for them to look for any problems.

Granted a good dyno tune with someone who knows their stuff is always better than an email tune, but its also alot more $$ and usually saved for power adders etc.

In the end its your call

+1. Don't waste you time on a Dyno tune with just bolt-ons. Save that money for your next mod. By all means though, run it on a dyno to compare OEM tune to the new bama tune.

AM knows their tunes and their email tunes made for your car are exceptional. Without any significant power adder mods, a dyno tune in the hands of an excellent shop (like AM) may pick you up a few additional RWHP/torque but IMO, the gain isn't worth the extra cost.

Hey,

With your current mod list I guarantee that our tune is going to be very close to a dyno tune, if not spot on! When it comes to basic bolt on's, we definitely have every aspect of these cars figured out. We're going to make our tune very safe and powerful, so there may be a few horsepower left on the table, that a dyno could definitely help pull out but it won't be much.

I would recommend shooting us over a datalog and we can make some minor tweaks to our tune that can benefit you! Once you start to get deeper into the mod game, you may want to look into a dyno tune. Things such as Supercharger, Turbo, Nitrous etc...

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions or need some further assistance. Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!
