Is my engine ruined?

Why did you drive the car for so long without an oil change?
I'm wondering if this is a joke as well.
You can go quite a while in between changes if you DON'T drive the car but I wouldn't wait a yr even then!
WHY did you do this?

BTW I've heard of engines being ruined just from startup and a couple of minutes of idle without oil.
I fear the worst for that engine.
Odds are definitely its gone.
Still waiting on WHY you did this.....
Very curious.

So that would be just shy of 25,000 miles. IF you were using Amsoils 25k mile rated oil and IF you were having the oil analyzed every 5k miles and IF you were checking and maintaining the oil level (like any NORMAL car owner) then you would have been fine. Did you not check the oil over that time frame? Are you... challenged?
You really ARE joking, right? If not then, yes, then I'd agree that your engine is likely #%^*ed.

This sounds like a joke. It's hard for me to believe that any mustang owner is this mechanically challenged.
