LOL wow, looks like everyone is throwing in their 2 cents about a shifter I never heard of. I gotta check this one out. As far as my previous post, I think the hurst billet one is probably out of the question. I didn't like the way it shifted into reverse, it felt like a struggle. I'm going to look into this MGW or the competition one

Shifting into reverse is going to feel more difficult in all of them especially if parked on an incline, with the tires up against a curb or parking bumper or even if the clutch isn't fully depressed. When mine is like that i just depress the clutch roll an inch or two and it falls right into reverse with ease.

I have the hurst billet that was already installed on my car when I purchased it. Have had it for over 1.5 years now and coming from an old 1998 model car with a standard 5 speed, I love it. It is however a bit notchy and I think it might be my transmission gear synchros, but shifting into 2nd can be a pain.

Never used MGW but obviously that's the best one for the stang.

Over the years of driving previous 5 speed vehicles I got into the habit of putting it in 4th, then reverse, because then it pops right in. Reverse is (or used to be) non-synchronized so for whatever reason it's really tough to go straight into reverse.
