Improving my mustang.. NEED ADVICE
I have a 05 V6 manual mustang. It has over 150,000 miles on it. I am looking to enhance it and replace parts that are currently having issues. I don't know all that much about cars but I am starting to learn. I do my own oil changes and I have changed my alternator by itself.
The main issue I am having with my car is that the clutch is stiff, it is sticking, and pops out of gear. I also know I have a coolant leak, but I am not sure where the leak is at. One of my belts looks pretty worn.
If I need to change the clutch, I know I want to upgrade from what comes standard with the mustang.
Any and all opinions, information is greatly appreciated.

the 4.0v6 @ 150k miles is a fairly tired motor, but because the 4.0 originated from ranger pickups it was designed with longevity in mind so your mileage is still ok. I would not do much more than an intake and tune to the motor..... if you were considering that. I will suggest a new coil, wires, and spark plugs (all easy additions). This alone will really add new life to your motor!
As for the clutch, that just sounds like regulat wear at 150k miles, but you may want to change all the fluids (tranny, clutch, brake) and see if that helps any. You can find a bunch of parts at americanmuscle.com including upgraded clutches and the aforementioned ignition parts. Also you may want to change the diff. fluid!
Common part that wear out (off the top of my head) are:
thermostat housing (tends to crack over time)
harmonic balancer (will separate in 2 pieces if the car was driven hard in its past)
drive belt (easily changed)
belt tensioner (known to get loose after awhile)
there are more, but thats all i can think of as of now...

Define "enhance it". Do you mean just perform preventive maintenance by replacing those items that will eventually wear/fail or do you also mean to increase performance? Another wear item to consider is the water pump.
As far as your coolant leak, the 4.0L is known for chronic t-stat housing cracking as Stang-aholic mentioned above. The OE housing is made of plastic (duhhhh).
Also, it sounds like it's time for a clutch.
