Which supercharger is right for me?

Which supercharger is right for me?
I have given it much thought and would rather go down the road of supercharging rather than turbo charging my 2012 5.0. I understand that all superchargers are different based on their applications. But I wanted to ask everyone here just to be sure. My car is a DD that will rarely if ever see an autocross but will see plenty of the drag strip. I am currently in the process of totally revamping the suspension so I don't think grip on the street would be an issue...Even with a roots or twin screw style SC. But everyone tells me the best blend of street and strip performance comes from a centrifugal supercharger. How much truth is there to this? Any help is appreciated, I'm definitely a noob when it comes to this.

A centri makes its top power at the redline, a positive displacement makes it over a broader range and it's usually declining at redline. So if cost isn't an issue, you might as well go with a TVS and be near peak power at a much lower RPM.
for example, comparing the turbos I now have with the whipple I used to have, if you were to overlay the power curves, you would see the whipple (which only made 502rwhp) made more power until around 3500-4000rpms, so for over half of the RPM ban (the putting around town), you would have the get-up and go at the ready.

If you go over 600 you'll have to upgrade your fuel system. I'm a big believer of ProChargers but I'm a bit biased (Street Lethal Performance). Shoot me a PM and I'll talk to the shop owner (good friend of mine) and see if he can help you out. They also sell Kenne Bell, Vortech, Paxton, Whipple, Roush...you name it.
Also, when you're running auto-x...you're typically mid to high rpms throughout the course so I would say a centri would be a good bet. Just my two cents. But the TS blowers would be great as well.

I’m mostly in the same situation except for 99% of my situation is going to be street driving, probably no autocross and maybe an occasional trip to the local strip. I went with the Roush stage 2 kit with the conservative Roush tune (for now) due to the power band. The kit is sitting in my hallway waiting to be installed on the week of August 12th so look for my post on before and after dyno’s around August 17th.
