how much should i pay for procharger installation?
So, i went with my guts and bought a used pro charger kit, the guy wasn't lying, he said 1500 miles on it, and when i went there, he said, not even 1500 cause he changed the oil after 500 miles like its recommended for the first time, then put about 200 miles then took it off. So if he is being truthful, he only put 700 miles. But the kit looks Great
I took the kit home and showed it to a couple of friends, and they said it has everything you need and it looks in great shape. Only thing missing is a $15 Fuse.
I called my local performance shop to have it installed and they gave me a number between 1200 to 1500 for installation, custom dyno tune, boost cage and if i end up needing some minor things .
My question is, good price or no? should i shop around? The closest shop i know for mustangs other than this one is about an hour away and they will most likely quote me for the same price.
If anyone wondering, i paid $3200 for the pro-charger kit, i thought it was a good deal considering its 5500 Brand new and the kit is in great shape like new.
thoughts?
