Glowing cars

Ok, let's try this again. It is NOT reflective paint. There is a power source involved. It lights up.
The shop that offers this is also painting my louvers. I will get more details next week. I know they also had a real Illinois state issued license plate that (when the power was flipped on) the numbers and letters lit up.

Sound like the shop you are using is using a different method to get a similar effect.

It's reflective paint in the video. As viewing angle changes so does brightness. If it was self-lit it would be bright from all angles. Just like street sign, nothing new. In the military we have things just like this in belt form...keeps us safe from the enemy in war zones.

Funny, I was just at a shop yesterday that offers these lights. Didn't get into the detail of how they work but there is a power source that lights these things up (for those wondering) and when they aren't powered on, you can't even see anything. It's kinda cool. He had a mustang door handle on display (plain white), then he hit the power button and SHELBY was glowing in blue letters. Anyway, for those that show their cars or those that want to add a little something to set their cars off, why not (if done tastefully).
The cars in the video are Fast&Furiousredrice&beans obviously. But what i have planned, i consider a more tasteful version of a cool technology:
