Default How many of you heel/toe daily?

I don't get to the track as often as I used to but I still try to do it when I drive. Its nicer for the passengers and lets be honest, it sounds great and its fun!

I cant heel toe. My darn feet are just too big. They fill up almost the whole floor pan. It ends up being more like heel and somewhere just past the end of my heel. If I try to heel toe, toe is on the brake but heel simply cant even come close to touching the gas. It hits the floor or the transmission tunnel.

I guess I'll start double clutching so I can say I do something cool in my car daily.

I'm not sure double clutching qualifies as something cool in our cars.

Wcgman you do know that you're supposed to be blipping the throttle with your other half of your foot, not actually using your heel?

Surely you jest. I wear size 13 shoes and "heel & toe" is easy.
Although "heel & toe" is a misnomer. It's more like ball of foot on brake, then roll side of foot on gas, so maybe "ball & roll". Meh, heel & toe sounds better. It sure beats compression braking.
Practice makes perfect.
