Knock Gauge
#3
You shouldn't really need it once you are done tuning. Once something shows on the gauge the car has already knocked, potentially causing damage, and the car has already compensated by reducing ignition timing.
You or who ever tunes your car should get it dialed in so that the car barely if ever knocks, especially on a forced induction setup.
