Default Knock Gauge

Any of you boosted guys using a knock gauge?

I am considering setting up some gauges with my new blower.

Thinking of boost/fuel pressure/knock

The three most important are A/F, then fuel pressure and boost.

You shouldn't really need it once you are done tuning. Once something shows on the gauge the car has already knocked, potentially causing damage, and the car has already compensated by reducing ignition timing.

You or who ever tunes your car should get it dialed in so that the car barely if ever knocks, especially on a forced induction setup.

I remember they used to use these a lot for turbo Grand Nationals . . . Some minor knock can observed before the actual ear could detect.
