I bought my 10' new upon my return from Iraq. 7 days later received orders for a two year assignment to Portugal. Took the car there an now in Florida. Longest car i have owned and have no plans to get rid of it. Just rolled 30K miles and yesterday put on a new set of tires. Still love driving it and still has the "look back" factor.

Bought mine in Oct 09, one of the last 2 09's on the lot after the 2010's were all the rage. One was a gray GT premium with a glass roof, the other was a black GT Premium. Identical beyond the glass roof, which i really didn't like, so i got the black one. Talked the dealer down over 10k off sticker, as they really didnt want me to leave without a car and i had a firm price i wouldn't go over. 26k miles later I still love it. I've considered trading it in for a 2014 5.0, but that would cost me ~12k+ depending on options after the trade in and it seems silly when I think about what my car could be with 12k put into it at my leisure, vs financing with payments and what not. Its not going anywhere. Currently only has a C&L intake and brenspeed tune with an axelback exhaust(sounds far more intimidating than it actually is). I forget which exhaust i went with but its basically just resonated tips and a muffler delete.

Got my 06 GT in 09 with 27k miles on it. Not the original owner however I will be the last, I've considered trading for a 12, 13, 14 coyote cause I like them so much but realize I just can't. I'm putting a little money aside now to get a 15 when there out and order from the factory how I want. I looked for my legend lime GT manual black leather premium for three years before I found one! So there is no sense is getting rid if it now. Especially since I've installed every bolt on possible besides cams and FI, as well as taking superb care of it washing waxing and fluids all around. Mechanically the only issues I've had are 2 batteries (one I installed YESTERDAY) haha and an alternator, as well as a small leak in the rear diff seal, easy fix. Have almost 85k now with a smile every time I start it! The 05-09 mustangs arnet near as smooth on the road as the 10 and up, but somehow that's why I like them, it reminds me of my 67 and kinda rough and hard to drive after lowering and aftermarket clutch. It's noisier and more harsh than the new ones, although the coyotes are far advanced and improved machines I figure I can get a 14 or 15 in a year or so and just have three mustangs... Why not

Its a beast of a machine.
Bought in Jan 08, first owner and last.
Love every second I drive it, great stress reliever. Just finished detailing and painting the CDC chin spoiler.
Have only had to replace the front ball joints, went with the GT500 arms.
Added the Magnacharger TVS 1900 SC with 47,000 miles, about to hit 80,000 and it has been great.
Retuned when I added Ford Racing CAI this past fall. Added the brembo take offs this past spring, and added the AMR wheels along with the brakes.
Now onto the audio upgrade.
The new ones look great, but they always do, no longer my DD. Take it out and to work when I feel like it.
