Who bought theirs new and still own it?

Bought my leftover 2006 Satin Silver automatic GT Premium new off the dealer lot on 11-11-06, (traded in my 2000 FRC Corvette for it!) GT was stickered at $30,990, got it for $27,000! (They wouldn't budge a penny from msrp on the '07's...)
Still have it at 104,000 miles. Retired from DD duty. Sits in my driveway, not used much at all anymore...a good spare car though!
Issues I've had: Hood paint issue,(had fixed under warranty at dealer as per TSB), peeling and blistering again.
Bushings on front control arms cracked and dry rotted ( two years ago), had control arms replaced with SVT GT 500 ones.
Interior door panel "leather" peeling down. Re glued last year, starting to fall again on passenger side.
Passenger side seat lever on backrest of seat broke, fixed under warranty.
Passenger side footwell water leak, fixed under warranty.
That's it, not too bad! No engine, trans, or electronic issues at all.
Issue caused by me: Annoying gear whine from getting 4.10 gear mod. Since returned to stock 3.31's, still whining! Boy do I regret opening that can of worms, also done by multiple shops, multiple times, no fix.
I did small mods through the years: CAI/tune, axleback mufflers, GT 500 LCA's, JDM trans fluid catch can mounted on firewall, and 4.10 gears. All but the rear LCA's and the trans fluid catch can returned back to stock.
Other than the above, I must say it is one solid, dependable car with no electronic or drivetrain issues at all. Totally reliable. Just regret spending money on mods, esp. gears, which still haunts me with the gear whine. Don't want to spend money on replacing whole axle which seems like last option.
November will be 9 years of ownership, the longest I have ever owned a car! No regrets!

I bought my 2010 new and it is still going strong at 83,000 miles and counting.
It is my daily driver and has endured this past Boston winter with ease (I have winter tires).
It's been to Florida three times and the only thing I had to replace was a heater vent in the dash, which was covered under warranty. I average 19 mpg and deal with Boston traffic five days a week. I'm looking to buy a 2016 vert, but this car is making it difficult to part with. Buy far the best car I have ever owned (and I bought my first car in 1972).

Gotta agree with this, bought 1st car in 68. Posted in this thread earlier about the 06 GT I had, ~180k miles with no real problems when I sold it last year. Son works at a Ford dealership, have him on the lookout for a 07-10 low mileage GT with good maintenance records. Have always been a equal opportunity car lover, but thinking of dealing a 99 vette to get another GT. Really do miss the 06 GT I had.

one tank of fuel so far
Bought my 2012 gt vert on a super bowl special in Feb 2015. I got 500 dollar off for throwing a football threw a tire. Still have not put any gas in it so not many miles on it yet. Bought the car with 30000 kms on it not miles EHHH. So far so good. Paid 25 000 Canadian dollars not sure if that's good or bad. Had a 2006 gt vert 2yrs ago and sold it. Felt sad to see it go. so here I am again with better badder stang.

Got my 2007 Pony Package two days before Christmas right off the delivery truck in Dec. 2006! I wanted a PP with manual, leather seats and in Vista Blue. All the Mustangs on the lot were autos but the salesmen told me they had a truck coming in with one exactly like I requested!
Now 13K miles later, I have done a few mods. The car is mostly for pleasure driving on pretty days. At 700 miles I had a duel exhaust system added. A few years ago I had SHR quarter window louvers added as well as a few other interior mods.
The car still runs great!
