Default Anyone with deep aftermarket transmission pan install filter with longer pickup tube?

Found the part here:

http://www.makcotransmissionparts.com/5R55N.html

# 46010A Filter, 5R55S/W 2002+, 2.4" pickup tube (SUV)
2.4" suction tube, Metal/Plastic (2.4" Pickup Tube) (SUV)

Probably have to take my pan off again to fix a transmission leak, worth installing if the existing filter is brand new?

I have the trick flow pan with extra 2 quarts.
