Default Car bogs down around corners. Why?

Hello all, my 07 gt is being stubborn. When going around corners 25mph+ it bogs down and feels powerless as if it wasn't getting fuel. Usually only on sharp turns. Any ideas?

TCS was available on the '07 and '06 but as part of an option package.

It's possible TCS is kicking in IF the OP is really getting on it and pushing hard thru the turn. But it sounds like it's happening more frequently than you'd expect from TCS (assuming he HAS TCS).

ABS and Traction Control were standard equipment on the '07 GT.

I changed the fuel filter about 3k ago. And I always drive with TCS turned off

Now that I think of it, going straight is a little sluggish as well in the lower gears for the first second. It's just more prominent going around corners.

Throttle body maybe? Ill have to see if its dirty

Are you stock? How many miles on the plugs? When was the last time you ran a fuel system cleaner?

I'd start off with cleaning the TB. If that doesn't resolve it, run a tank or 2 with the proper mix of SeaFoam or Techron (I prefer SeaFoam if I suspect an issue and I run Techron as Preventive Maintenance at every oil change or 10k miles, whichever comes first). Next I'd try the throttle recalibration procedure described in your OM.

take it to a ford dealer and they can tell you exactly whats wrong for about 70 bucks...rather then spending hundreds on possible solutions that may or may not fix the problem.

once u got the proper diagnosis, fix it at a cheaper mechanic or do it urself if possible.

+1 on throttle body clean and also before dealership check your plugs!
If they haven't been changed then do that first. If they have been changed, check if they are still tight.
