TPMS problem

TPMS problem
I have winter tires mounted on Ford Mustang 18" 5-spoke wheels. Before I removed them last spring, the TPMS light came on. All pressures were OK. When I mounted my summer wheels, the light went out.
As it is almost time to put the winters back on, I have been thinking about how to locate the wheel giving out the signal. If I just roll each wheel out one by one and lay them next to the car as its running, will the tell tale sensor show up?
I know I can just mount them and go to the shop, but I am curious.
Thanks for any suggestions.

I'm assuming that both your summer and winter wheels have the sensors in them. Personally, I don't give a ratz azz about the TPMS system and I'd ignore it. But you should be able to have the offending sensor identified with the sensor training tool.

Hi,
Every time you change your wheels you need to sync your TPMS.
You will need that tool, They also have a video how to do it:

hope it helps
