Is it just and optical allusion or is there a big gap between the front fenders and the doors? Not to keen on that, but otherwise, this looks fantastic. The color definately makes the wide body more subtle, but you still know that it's not quit the way Ford made it. Big fat tires and a whole lot of horsepower and some C6 owners would get taken by surprise on both the 1/4 and in the twisties.

YEP! Certainly a big gap there, but it's on purpose. This car is of course for show, but also primarily for the track. On the track at high speeds, the wheel wells produce a high pressure system when driving at speed, so air must go in from the front, and out the back, not from the side or out the face of the wheel, this isn't efficient and can cause unsteady high speed driving if it's too pressurized. So it's not a misfitting piece, the whole kit fits better than a lot of other bumpers I've seen in my day.

I kind of figured it was for venting purposes, but the angles of the pics don't do it justice. A couple more pics focusing on that area would be nice
