Default 1 Piece Driveshaft

OMG, I ordered my one piece driveshaft from Lethal Performance in December and it just arrived today after two months. Is this normal?

I called Lethal Performance once a week since mid January and they said that DSS (Driveshaft Shop) wasn't picking up the phone or returning calls.
Perhaps they misplaced my super sales price order?
Anyway, Christmas for my car has finally arrived and will the install will be this weekend.

What's the benefit of a one piece drive shaft? Excuse me, I'm a noob to Mustangs.

The aftermarket DS are stronger and weigh less. Now in theory the less rotating mass (weight) you have on the drivetrain the more power you can put down.

Also the aluminum driveshafts can have less vibration too. My 99 has the ford racing aluminum piece and its got less vibration.

I'm looking for higher exit speed in turns on road course HPDE track days.

Don't really notice significant vibration, but it is pretty noisy. However, the Borla exhaust drowns out the noise off idle.

Thanks, makes sense. I read somewhere they also allow the governor (top speed) to be disabled on a V6. Is that true? Not that I am personally interested in that with a car under warranty, but in the future it may be something I would be interested in.

Disabling the governor requires an electronic input/change but the issue with the V6s is the driveshaft exploding. There was a video of one grenading at 130ish.
