2010 GT500 wheels will be the 5 spoke 19" x 9.5", unless they're off a vert, in which case they are 18" x 9.5". You'll still need different TPMS sensors.

The TPMS sensors werent standard until the 2008 MY cars. So she may not need them if her 2007 didnt come with them originally.

Can I just go without the sensors? My car does have TPMS sensors with the little light that is annoying.

You won't get the benefit of a warning if one or more of your tires has low pressure if that annoying light is on all the time. I had the TPMS indicator come on a few weeks ago due to low pressure on one of my tires, otherwise I wouldn't have known. You can buy the valve stem type at American Muscle for $40 each and have your local tire shop install and program them for you.

the gt500 wheels should come with sensors unless they were removed.

And the light is just another feature that allows the american person to not be responsible for normal safety checks and maintanence on their car. How hard is it to get out and check your air pressure once a week.

thats because your car isnt a base model or v6. not all of the mustangs came with them in 07.

2010 and up TPMS sensors are incompatible with 2009 and earlier. They run on a different frequency.

As for the TPMS function itself, it's an idiot light. Some people say they check their tire pressure once a week. Me...I check maybe once every 6 months or if Im thinking about it during an oil change. I also check pressure if the car feels at all sluggish or is tracking wrong while driving.

Using my method, I've had lets see....zero flat tires leaving me stranded in 25 years of driving. TPMS is basically political BS shoved down our throats by a nanny government.

As for the original question of 700 bucks for the wheels + 6 tires, I would buy that right now if someone had that for sale!! That's a great price assuming all of it is in good condition.

I'm so glad people are on the same page as me with the TPMS function. It's cool and all, but seems kind of useless in a way. I've never had a flat tire either..ever. If I did, it was probably from a nail or something and still it didn't go completely flat. I do the same thing as you. I change my oil routinely and it is checked then. And I'm constantly looking at my pretty pony outside so I notice if my tire looks low. Also, I can feel if the pressure has reached too low.

I'm assuming the wheels do not have the TPMS included or he probably would of said something. I've tried a million times to upload the picture of the wheels, but can't for the life of me! The tread I believe he said 8-9/32. From all the pics I've looked over they look to be in great condition. I love the 5 double spoke shelby wheels. Think I'll be picking them up tomorrow...would today, but just got off work!

What does 19x9.5 tires normally cost to replace? Is it better off to get 18s?
