not gonna touch the axel lads.
gonna lightly oil the whole underneath ..ofc then wipe it off after..i did it on me v6 and it worked well..
the car is almost factory condition underneath..i'll show u when i'm done in about a weeks time..
lucky these cars never get driven in winter here..i have done behind all the wheels already and it's looking good.

Just so you know... there is a scientific reason for the rusted axles....the outer layer of rust actually acts as the preventive layer for further rust developing. Just saying....Yes it ain't pretty, but who's 3 inches tall and looking up at your car from that angle everyday????

Spray the entire bottom with WD40, cleans up nicely.

Those oem rear ends always looked like garbage. When I bought my 8.8 from a wrecked 2012 Shelby, it was already powder coated black. The car had performance package, maybe that's why?

done the rear.all washed and smothered in wd40..got soaked and had to do it in my underpants..

Looks nice now, but that is gonna attract all kinds of dust. You should of used something like a spray detailer or plastic wax that doesnt stay oily.

have wiped off all the excess dude...i've used the wd40 to kinda polish it.
off work tomorrow so will do the front half.
then detail under the hood..fully wax the car with black wax..oil the leather and then cover with blankets untill april.
