DuPont Teflon Severe Service Grease on bushings?
Hi forum, I've been having some bad luck with the greases I've been using on my bushings. So far I've been through several and they keep washing out or deteriorating quickly. The best I've tried have been synthetic greased with Teflon so I went lookin for the stickiest, toughest grease I could find with those characteristics. I finally settled on DuPonts Severe Service Grease

I just wanted to ask if anyone had opinions on this? I know it is meant for industrial applications but everything on the product page seems to imply it will do the job. Is there anything obvious Im missing?
Thanks

Some types of dino & synthetic grease will eat your poly bushings. Use silicone-based grease only for them. Prothane and a few others make it. It is clearish white and sticky as hell, makes a horrible awful mess. Tip: use WD40 for clean up.
Only use dino or syn grease on balljoints and tie rod ends.

The bushings are polyurethane. The grease I was told to use by my mechanics is consistently a thick, sticky green grease that they tell me is synthetic. Like I said, I've had the most success with synthetic Teflon greases. Does anyone know if this type of grease is known for eating polyurethane specifically?

The website says
"High-temperature bearings, bushings and gear couplings
Low-speed, high-heat and high-EP (extreme pressure) bearings
Sleeve, ball and roller bearings
Bushings, spring shackles and couplings
Chassis, kingpins, U-joints and tie-rods
Hinge and bucket pins
Can be used as an upgrade or replacement for most general purpose greases

The White ubber sticky grease is best for PU bearings. There's one called Super Lube out there that comes in a silver tube with kind of a rainbow logo that is supposed to be really good. It's a synthetic grease.
Then there is also Prothane Supergrease, it specifically states it is a highly adhesive Silicone based grease for PU bushings.
