Spirited driving in cold weather but hot oil?
Silly question perhaps, but is there any risk for damage by engaging in spirited driving when the weather is cold (but car is at temp)?

It was 52 degrees at the concrete parking lot at work this morning...I launched it in 1st, effin slammed 2nd, and with the suspension setup I have, she cut a perfect straight line past my bosses who were standing right there... I tossed the keys to my Director of Operations and said " she's running good, give her a try". He came back an hour later with a Starbucks cup in his hand and told me that I'm a sick, twisted individual and don't call him for bail money...

But also you are a very trusting guy...nobody drives my car but me. Hell my wife has only driven it twice.

Yeah, the tires on my 18s are starting to give up traction early, whereas all through the summer they have been perfect. Any preference for winter tires? I'll be putting them on my stock 16s...

If I had to drive my Stang in northern winters (and I have over 36 years of PA, NJ and Chicago winters), I'd buy a set of dedicated winter tires using this info as guidance: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/survey...sp?type=W&VT=C
