Default Trufiber hood water problems

Im About a week from getting my true fiber GTS-4 hood. I was just wondering if I'm going to have problems with water coming through the vents. Would there be any way i could actually block them off or make a drip pan of some sort?

I have that (or one similar to it). It was on the car when I bought it and came with things to catch the water.....only problem is that made the vents not functional so I took those off and now just avoid driving in the rain. I just keep a couple of old towels in the trunk to cover the vents when its not parked in a garage. Hopefully the pictures explain it better than I just did

Have that exact hood. I would be concerned if it were going to be sitting out all the time, but mine is garage kept. I've had it out in the rain with no problems. With the heat of the engine, the water evaporates very very quickly if it enters the vents. I would however avoid the automatic car washes and shooting water excessively directly in the vents. You can buy the covers from them too. When my car had to sit out for a couple weeks, I used a small tarp to cover the motor and drape down the sides where the exhaust manifolds are to keep it from pooling anywhere (obviously waited until the motor had cooled).

Its not an issue, there are no electrical parts near those vents to get wet anyways.

This question has been asked many times in the past, and I haven't seen anyone have any problems yet..
