Just uploaded a Bama 93 race tune to my car and it really woke it up. Throttle is quicker and it'll roast the tires all the way through third. That said, I've only had it on the car for a day and will be uploading a different file after my headers are installed tomorrow so I can't comment on mileage or cruising driveability.

I have had the Bama 93 race tune in my car since about a month after buying it. Still get good gas mileage 19-20 when I just drive normal, but it woke the car up better shift points and seems like more power. Go on and get a CAI tuner package Steeda, Bama, ect. I know I don't regret it.

I would recommend a call to Brenspeed.
Intake/tune package will bring a BIG smile to your face...guaranteed!

I baselined mine the second day after picking it up from dealer, in warm humid weather back in June, with dealer fuel, ran a best of 13.38 @ 107, bought a 93 octane tune with SCT tuner, took to track again in October, ran a best of 12.43 @ 113, nothing else changed.

I would've agreed with you a couple months ago, but after calling around to various shops the common refrain was "yeah, we're starting to tune the new 5.0's so bring it on by". I just didn't feel comfortable with that response. This was in Houston where a lot of the work is done on GM's and exotics so your mileage may vary. I feel more comfortable with a tune from people who focus on them.

A lot of the guys who do custom dyno tuning are NOT auto-transmission experts. They can firm up the shifts but beyond that I've had MUCH better luck with the Internet guys. I've run Branspeed, Bama, and most recently C&L. Doug @ C&L is a true expert with the Auto transmissions, none are like his.

Default 2013 GT 650hp tune with auto

I used Hennessey to mod my 2013 GT auto to 650hp and they warranty the engine and tranny for 3yrs or 36k miles. Normal shifti mode is firm but shift points are great. With selecta shift and sport mode this pony will hookup. Better make sure you have some rubber under you. They are pricy but an awesome product.
