Alright here's the deal. I'm buying a set of wheels regardless for a set of track rubber (auto-x), but since I've got brembo's that does limit my wheel options a tad. Now, I've got 2007 GT500 wheels on my car now. I like them, they look pretty damn slick, but for some reason, I just don't feel them as much on a 2010 body style as much as the older body. Part of me was thinking about snagging up a set of 2010 GT500 wheels and using those for my street tires and using the 2007 wheels I have now for the track rubber. It would be SLIGHTLY cheaper then the other wheels I'm looking at, Steeda Pentars. But, the GT500 wheels are quite a bit heftier.

I don't really CARE what my track wheels look like, I mean, as long as they aren't steelies, I'm good.

So I dunno, lighter wheels for the track, or a set of wheels for the street that I think fits my car better and cheaper overall. My wife seems to think think that the 2007 GT500 wheels look better, and that she'd rather have me spend more money. I don't think I've EVER heard her say that about my car purchases before. I may need to get that in writing.

For reference, here's my car now. So you be the judge.

Hmmm of course its personal preference but I would go with the 2010 GT500 wheels for daily street use, I think they would look better.

I also have the '07 GT500 wheels but I prefer them over the '10 style. Just my 2 cents. Go with your gut.

Personally I love the 2010 GT500 wheels, going to be picking myself up a set later on this year potentially.

I like the 2010 much more but i've always liked that 5 spoke look.If it's really what you want to do than go for it.

i liek the wheels oyu have now on the 09 down body, but the 10 wheels are much better on the new style. You can get the FRPP ones for $164 each in 18" right now brand new.

Why not the 2011 track pack wheels?

They aren't wide enough to run the tire I'm going to be autocrossing on. Secondly, aren't they 19's?

18x9.5 is basically the sweet spot.

I like the 2010's GT500 wheels, but my opinion is bias. The 2011 Track pack wheels (take offs) are 19's front and 20's rear. I would love to move to those, but they are a little more expensive than the ones I have now. You can however order them just in 19's but would rather save $ with buying them from someone who just doesn't want them.
