whats the best way to drain washer fluid? i just kept spraying it until it ran out but idk if its bad to do.
is it okay just to use this stuff in summer too? i hardly ever use washer fluid regardless.

Yeah you can run it out just like that. You might give it a little bit of time for the motor to rest too. I dont think it will burn out but they are pricey and a b**** to replace.

I know the blue stuff here is labelled as being good to -20...BUT, I've had washer fluid freeze solid on single digit mornings here. Also last winter I was driving through Frostburg, MD and it was about 10 degrees there, and the washer fluid froze up the washer nozzles on my car, and it was the blue stuff.
That just might be due to the fact that there's alcohol in it so it tends to accumulate some water, I don't know.

I have found that the labeling of the freeze temperature for windshield washer fluid is sometimes inaccurate. I have some blue stuff that says it's good to -20 degrees. I put a cup of it in my freezer, which is about 0 degrees; it froze.
To empty the washer reservoir, I would try a siphon. I've never tried this on my Mustang, so I don't know if there is any filter or other obstruction that would prevent the tube from reaching the bottom of the reservoir.
