With all the owners experiencing this issue and with no positive feedback on a solution, I believe that the dealers need help from Ford to find the cause.
I don't have the time to keep returning to the dealer to replace parts in hopes to find the solution.....
Thanks...

My dealer was able to hear the noise, however, since the noise only occurs for a short time they were not able to positively locate the source of the noise.

On a cold start, before you start it, take the serpentine belt off the car. Then start it. If the noise doesn't appear then you know for a fact it's a pulley or belt making the noise. Most likely the idler or tensioner pulley.
If the noise still there with the belt removed then it's most likely coming from the harmonic balancer.
Obviously you don't want to drive the car without the belt, you would drain your battery and overheat the car. A simple start up and idling for a minute or two without the belt won't hurt it.

Whining occurring to mine as well
My 2013 Mustang has made this noise for over a year now and after taking it to multiple dealerships the noise is still occurring. I have had my water pump replaced, all accessory belts replaced, and last visit to my local ford dealer lasted 2 months resulting in the Long Block of the motor being replaced and yet the noise is still occurring. I don't understand how this has not been resolved.
