OK, I'm dredging up an old topic here but these lights are driving me nuts.

As I posted previously, I had worked on these some back in January, did the above fixed and the lights looked to be working great, but I still needed to put tint film on them so I took them out and had them off for awhile.

So, I got the car done and I've been dicking around with these lights for the last couple weeks and I cannot get those inside lights to consistently work!

Here's what I don't understand:

If I have the lights sitting on my bench, I can plug the light into the resistor harness shown above, hook them up to a 12V power source and they light up fine no matter how they're hooked up (as long as I have the polarity correct, of course).

However, when I put the lights in the car and hook everything up, the outside lights will light up but the inside lights will not, on either side, no matter how I hook them up, whether the car is running or not. Another kicker is that I had hooked up one of the lights last week and plugged the inside light directly into the socket and it lit up fine, but now won't do that either.

These things are driving me freaking crazy!!!
