Question 2008 Mustang - Gauges and controls suddenly stopped working

Hi All,

I was driving my 2008 Mustang (V6 with GT appearance package, 80k miles) home this evening, when I got off the interstate I noticed that none of my gauges we're working (everything was sitting on the bottom, like the car was off). My wiper, turn signal, radio and AC controls were also non-responsive. Everything was lit up like normal, just nothing worked.

Any ideas on where to start looking for the source of the problem?

Smart junction box... pass side footwell. Check for dampness/corrosion

It could also be a blown fuse - there is one that controls the dash functions. Can't think of it right now, I just remember having to replace it a couple of times when I plugged my SCT in and had my Sirius dash unit powered up; for some reason that would overload everything and nothing (including the OBD port) would respond.

Thanks GrayPony! I checked the box and found a very large connector had come loose (about 5 inches wide and has a latch) I reseated the connection and all is well.
