Yeah, I was looking at the NHRA rules and I could have sworn it was based on time but, your right. If you move it from the stock location you must have a cut off switch on the rear of the car. So, I'm going to set one up that goes through the rear panel with a rod that can be removed. Only install the rod when I'm going to the track.. I'm going to get the four pole and set one of them up on the fuel pump relay. I don't want to mess with the charging wire.

I always get myself into crap.. lol

That sucks. I would love to move mine to the trunk as well but I am not going to put in a cut off switch.

The way I'm going to do it, unless I'm at the track you won't even know there is one unless you are looking for it. I have this rear panel and I'm going to put the rod between the ribs. Only install it when I'm at the track otherwise there will be a small black rubber plug in the hole.

Since that panel raises up with the trunk lid, how will you attach the rods to the switch? Maybe I don't understand your plans

Ya know, i'm such an idot. I'm so wrapped up in a few projects i have going on, that i totally forgot about that.

I could run the wiring along the trunk and have everything mounted on the underside of the lid.

I think I'll just put the rod through the backup light lens and just put a hole plug in it when I'm not on the track.

Just ordered the pigtail to use in place of the fuel reset cutoff switch in he drivers kick panel. This will interface to the switch mounted in the trunk as soon as I find the female connector. I found a place between the bumper and trunk were I can put a 3/16 stainless steel rod through and mount to the switch for the shutoff at the track. When the rod is removed you never will know there there for the track.
