My silver 14 coupe and mods!
#21
Im thinking some wrinkle walls on the backs for a few summer passes at the track after a few mods. Hmmm....
But I do agree, the black wheels are a little bit better. But something about that style cobra wheel has always done something for me. That and because of the rim/tire size on the cobra's, It ended up lowering the car about .8 of an inch, which is ball park of what most of the lowering kits are. So I would have to say, 1 inch to 1.25 inch front and about 2 in the back is probably what I would shoot for.
Most comments so far on the pinstripes have been the same type of comment. It helps the body line a lot, but they are not a huge fan of the stripes themselves. Ill be curious how it looks with the black wheels on there. If spring would just hurry up and come, ill find out sooner!
What's everyone's opinion on the side louvers being black too? Then throw on the black wheels. I'm worried its too much black. Oh and the tint too. But black rear louvers are pretty appealing too....
Oh, and if the tax man is good to me, the first major mod will be a Borla Atak system. I just cant get over the sound! It sounds like a slower reving, and more aggressive R8 with the v10 when its stock. Such a good noise from a V6!

Oh, and I love silver and black. Here is my girlfriends 2012 focus 5dr hatch.
Up on some lift for some early mods.
Red calipers and rotors for some extra HP and speed through the corners!
Even painted the rims up with some of that custom shield to see how they would look with some flair thrown on them.
Made the wheels look smaller, but it was different than all the other focus's running around.

I can't say I am digging the Cobra wheels, but you like them, that is enough for me.
I like the idea on the Focus wheels, but if you reversed it, I think it would keep the wheel looking larger and still be pretty unique.
Regardless you are having fun and enjoying yourself, that is the important part. Folks would be happier in the world if they realized that their opinions aren't always the opinions of others. However, when you open yourself up for those opinions...
