Guess what caused this on a 2014 Shelby.

Probably won't cover that under warranty. lol
There was a guy the other day with a 2013 and he was denied warranty on his car. They denied his rear end, then transmission problems. I was questioning why, but the thread was stopped before it was finally answered why.
I check with my local dealership mechanic friend yesterday, and he said they probably ran the "blackbox" on his car. It was a 2013, and YES, it has a blackbox. It makes it so, whatever we do, while driving, is logged into permanent memory, so they can tell exactly what happened when and why. No more days of telling the dealer a big one, and having him buy into it. He can plug into the console, and read the info. It will save the manufacturers a ton of money but I can see a bunch of problems down the road. Any car made as a 2014 will have them, and most of the Ford's and GM's have had they since 13 installed on their vehicles. I don't know about the Chryslers but they should have it also.
It will change the way warranties are preformed from now on. If you abuse, you're wallet will feel the pain. Hmmm. Don't forget, the police and insurance companies will have access to this information also, so you won't be able to say you had the brakes on when the computer says you were accelerating. Damn technology. lol
