For me, headlights are all about better viability for improved night driving performance and safety.

I wish I could turn Daniel Stern's website into a club and use it to knock out the headlamps of any car or truck containing ultra-bright-blue (or especially those purple 12000K abominations) HID capsules in halogen housings.
Sadly, those nimps still wouldn't understand.
And I'd probably end up with a broken jaw.

Many people just don't understand how our vision works and that "whiter" does not mean "see farther" or "see better". When it's dark and rainy, I'd love to hear guyz with the 6000K or higher headlamps AND fog lamps bitch because they can't see squat. Or that they don't know that their fog light assemblies on these cars are designed for a short, wide throw so they bitch about new lamps not making their fogs into driving lights.

FWIW, I just bought some Hella pure yellow replacements for my fogs.
#1 - tired of getting flashed. People see 4 lights and assume I have my high beams on. I run them all the time, too many critters darting around on the roads/sides of the road to not see what's going on.
#2 - the yellow should help me in the dense fog I get on my commute pretty often.

Hey. i have been looking around and i really like diode dynamics stuff they offer. i may end up replacing a lot of lights over the next month or two. i am not really worried about visability. i am sure ill be able to see. i really looking for brightness. a nice crisp white light(headlights and foglights)
