So, I ordered my first tuner ever from AM (ive had a diablo sport for my 00' v6) but this is my first from american muscle I ordered the JLT/SCT tuner combo for my 12' 3.7 anyone else have this combo or have any experance with bama? I'd really like to have a ghost tune for my 12' just to have does Bama offer that? I know VMP tuning does just dont wanna drop the cash just for a sound mod lol... ( I know some people think the ghost cam is dumb...)

I could be wrong, but I think the ghost cam tune is only for the GT

I'm not sure what model it is for. But it will require an off road pipe or cat deletes, otherwise I believe it can hurt the car (someone may have to confirm that for me). I do have a cam tune, I don't run it all the time, usually only during the summer, but it sounds great. The car is a bit more difficult to drive coming out of first gear.

Some like it, some don't.

So, when should I get a email on the custom tune? I have yet to see any email from bama asking what i wanted or current mods on the car.

You will get an email asking you 19 questions about your car. It usually comes within a few days, but realize today (thursday Feb 13) they were closed because of the huge snow storm. After you return the questionaire it takes a couple of days to progam our tuner device. AMs tunes are very good, you will love it.

The ghost tune is over-rated IMO. There were issues with it a while back if I remember correctly. Your good with what your ordered.

Hey guys obviously you can tell I'm a noob to this forum.Im going to start modding my car any day now and any advice on the Sct tuner/CAI combo packs?I know it's personally preference,but just want to buy the right parts with no regrets.Thanks!!

Congratulations! That's a great modification. A CAI and Tuner combo kit is the most beneficial combination you can do for any Mustang. You'll pick up a ton of power, torque, acceleration, drive ability, gas mileage, throttle response and much more! The shift points are also a great perk if you have an Auto.

Unfortunately we don't offer a Cam tune for the V6 at this time. We only offer the Cam tune for 11+ GT's with a manual transmission. If that changes, you guys will be the first to know!
