Default MBRP exhaust

I looked them up appear to be reputable company. That is just now breaking into the mustang segment. Anyone know anything about them.

The biggest question I have is does anyone have a sound clip of them on a mustang. I have seen them on CJ's and AM but neither one have a sound clip. I was liking the fact that their catback system has 3 inch pipes which in my opinion should make a very deep rumble without so much scream

I had their axleback for awhile when I first got the car in 2011.

All stock:

With catted X pipe:

Now granted this was just the 2 1/2" axle back but they use the same mufflers for everything.

Thanks for the reply. Did they drone at any rpm?

With the stock H pipe I didn't notice any, but they weren't overly loud with that either. There was some with the X pipe but they were also considerably louder with that too and that was probably part of it.

It wasn't really annoying...I just decided I wanted a different sound and went in another direction.

BTW, I will say I was pretty happy with them as far as fitment was concerned...they had non adjustable tips but the fit was pretty dead on as you can see in the videos.

One complaint that I did have with them was that they were all stainless...EXCEPT, they apparently used reglar wire in their welder to weld on the hangers for some reason. So after not that long of a time the welds at the hangers had rust on them, and there was splatter on the muffler bodies and tips that had started to rust too. Not a huge deal but didn't make much sense to me. Far as I could tell everything on the muffler body and tips had all been welded with stainless wire at least.
