AM was out of stock on the DSS shaft from mid December through late January, so I don't think it would have arrived much sooner.

Most tuners (by tuners I mean companies not the actual unit) will not remove the limiter UNLESS you have an upgraded driveshaft on a v6. So you have to put on the driveshaft, and then use a tuner to remove the limiter.

I may be wrong...I'm new to this - but doesn't AM have a low-price guarantee?

...but regardless (not trying to second-guess you) - hope you're enjoying your new goodie!

I bought a 1 piece a/s from brenspeed. I believe it was made from dynotech. The drive shaft was awesome. Took me about 2 hours to change. It was $737 shipped. Rated to 900 horse power.

No worries, hope your question was answered to your satisfaction.

Big rain storm coming to Nor Cal this weekend. I'll be installing the DS and will post comments later.

DSS makes a great product. You will notice the lag is reduced greatly between pedal movement and the back wheels turning. Car feels way more connected after install IMO.
