Thanks, makes sense. I read somewhere they also allow the governor (top speed) to be disabled on a V6. Is that true? Not that I am personally interested in that with a car under warranty, but in the future it may be something I would be interested in.
Most tuners (by tuners I mean companies not the actual unit) will not remove the limiter UNLESS you have an upgraded driveshaft on a v6. So you have to put on the driveshaft, and then use a tuner to remove the limiter.
I bought a 1 piece a/s from brenspeed. I believe it was made from dynotech. The drive shaft was awesome. Took me about 2 hours to change. It was $737 shipped. Rated to 900 horse power.
Disabling the governor requires an electronic input/change but the issue with the V6s is the driveshaft exploding. There was a video of one grenading at 130ish.

DSS makes a great product. You will notice the lag is reduced greatly between pedal movement and the back wheels turning. Car feels way more connected after install IMO.
