If they get it in this week I'm going to try and get it early next week since I have a couple days off so I can get confident at driving a stick. Hopefully I will have a mustang in the next week or 2.

Have you checked craigslist? There's a lot of nice mustangs around the Carolinas. I'd be realllly ifffy buying a salvage tittled car.
