Been looking at some new wheels and I heard before that machineblacks are just non shiny silvers - but to me they look way better than a silver and got some shine to them as well...
ie: been thinking of these wheels and they look nice as hell to me, what do you think? it says they take the large 2.5" centercaps (which is what is stock on my mustang with the pony engraving) so should be a perfect fit!

Those wheels look awesome! They're certainly one of our best sellers for obvious reasons.
As other on this thread have pointed out, black machined has two different finishes. The machined section is the front of the spokes on this particular wheel. It essentially is gently polished to the point where the metal has some shine, but not quite to the point of a mirrored or chrome finish. The black sections are on the sides of the spokes and around the dish. These sections are painted black and finished with a clear coat.
I personally love the way a lot of these wheels look with this style of finishing, and I particularly like AMR wheels you have selected. This finish especially on the 2010 and new Mustangs has really taken off and by far one of our most popular sellers.
One other thing I wanted to mention, even though the center cap diameter is the same, the depths are different and they will not accept the factory center cap. Sadly, this is the case for almost every aftermarket wheel on the market, due to licensing reasons with Ford.
If you do decide to go with these wheels remember that we do offer forum members a 6% discount off their entire order.
If you have any other questions feel free to ask myself or contact the customer service team listed below my signature. Good Luck!
