placed several orders over the last couple days.

Steeda tuner (tuned for the catless x pipe)
pypes off road catless x pipe
black billet grill kit (upper & lower)
Eibach Sportline lowering springs
Kooks Leguna seca Axlebacks,

and waiting til wednsday to get it all shipped in from all over. im looking forward to getting all this, and installing it all myself. except the springs. called around, and places say its roughly a 5 hour job just to lower the car. yikes. labor will cost morethan the springs if i have someone else do it.

hope the car wont be too loud. and looking forward to some good gains with the small amount of adds going on.

Anyone had expierence with any of these mods in about to do? precautions? tips?

I didn't see a CAI on your list. That with your Steeda tune should be good (unless you meant that you purchased a Steeda CAI and tuner). The off-road x pipe will def make it louder, however, I am not familiar with the Leguna Seca ab's...though if they are Kooks, they probably sound good. The sportlines are going to put it on the ground.

All of those are easliy doable on a weekend. 5 hours? lol. You can do the springs yourself in 5 hours...just google it. Easy with basic hand tools, really easy with a air gun. Save yourself money and learn it.

everyone keeps telling me about the CAI... but everyone in Arizona says its a waste. quote from these forums... "The factory GT CAI will pull more than enough air for the motor." AND the dust in the Phoenix area is such a fine dust (and its EVERYWHERE) that anything other than a paper filter, CANT keep the dust out of the motor. lots of after market filters, like K&N, are cloth. and even oiled, they will eventually perform worse for the motor, than the stock CAI and paper (motorcraft) filter. the avg HP gains from a good CAI are roughly 3-5hp down here in phoenix Az...

Do the spring install yourself. Its not difficult at all. Like Osutx said, easy and with a impact stupid easy. Get a battery unit if you dont have one yet.....they are worth every penny and you will use it way more often than you realize.
The shop that quoted you 5 hours to install springs is HIGH. My buddy with a lift did his car in an hour and 15 minutes, no lie. In your driveway it wouldnt take you 5 hours. Just print up the directions and go for it. Backs are silly easy, the fronts need a spring compressor which you can rent or borrow from most auto stores.
I just did my car two weeks ago and plan to help my buddy with a GT500 and another with 2013 GT who just ordered his springs.

I thought the stock struts are too tall for the Eibach sportlines...the stock strut will be too far compressed and wont perform well or last very long.
