Very bad shaking?
Hey guys I got this crazy problem ive never seen anything this weird...well actually i had a crazy problem with a 93 benz once but thats another story.
Anyways i have a stick 197 and for some reason whenever i accelerate something starts shaking violently. I wanna say its the engine but im not sure. But heres the crazy part, it only happens when its raining. also the shaking gets worse the harder its raining. It barely happens if its drizzling and its very violent shaking when its pouring out. Its not because of the cold. there have been nights where it was colder and not raining and everything is fine.
another thing is i have the cervini ram air 4 hood from AM...when i put the hood on it didnt come with vents. I thought this was crazy and was very disappointed with AM for that because obviously dirt, rain, and everything else can get into the engine but its too late now and theres nothing i can do. So im guessing the rain is getting under the hood and causing this? I just got the car from a local ford dealership 6 months ago theres no way id have a problem this big already.
Oh and last thing, ive already checked the ignition coil and engine mounts. not only that but if one of those two things was bad it would have nothing to do with the rain, itd shake in sunny or cold weather too. The rain is the common factor. any ideas?
EDIT: hood can be seen in sig....is this hood gonna be a problem since there are openings? should i get rid of it?

the shaking gets worse when i go higher but it starts at about 1300rpm and just gets worse the higher it is.
problem with it being the axle hop, ignition coil, engine mounts, all this kinda stuff would be happening in any weather condition. I dont get why it only happens in the rain. and i know its the rain because even in cold weather my car is fine.

the vents on the top of the hood are sealed they have plastic "cups" underneath. its the front vents that are open. This is a good idea though. It just started raining recently and i was so sure it involved the rain i didnt want to cover it but ill give it a shot.
