Default Is your a/c cold??

A couple of questions about the A/C on my 06 GT. Keep in mine that I am in Las Vegas and we are triple digit now. How cold is your A/C mine is sort of cold but defenetly not ice cold, and seems colder when not in recerculating mode. I know that due to the heat it wont be as cold as if it was 70, but just wondering what your cars do.

Also when I do have the A/C on it seems to draw a LOT of power, and if I reset my average MPG it drops off about 4-5 MPG. Is that too much?

I guess I am wondering this stuff because my 98 Deville blows ice cold even at 105 and power doesnt seem effected. power output is almost the same at right around 300HP and torque, but I and just looking for what your cars do.

Witch tit cold. I stuck a little thermometer in the vent and it is blowing 41*. If we run it on high, and fan on high, it is long shirt sleeve time.

Texas
AC is, well, cold , but not real cold. I believe that is because it's 90+ out and not an AC issue.
Only lizards and Indians live in Arizona, on prepuce.

Meat Locker Cold! I live in Florida it's 93 degrees and humid and after 5 minutes to cool off the black interior I need to put the fan on it's lowest setting. I feel a power loss with it on but not 4-5 mpg. Have the Stealership check it out if you're still covered.

I live in Tucson Arizona and it has been well over 100 for a while, today is about 110. My car blows cold air but not freezing. It is comfortable. If the car has been sitting in the sun for a while it takes a long time for the air to get cool.

But I do have a concern about driving with the AC on. I have to give it so much more gas to engage the clutch smoothly, and it feels so sluggish with AC on. Anyone else feel the AC is a pain to drive with.
