How to shut off "Engine Oil Change Soon" message

How to shut off "Engine Oil Change Soon" message

The "Change Engine Oil Soon" message popped up on my digital display. Oil has been changed, but the owner's manual doesn't really explain HOW to shut that message off.

Any help?

Don't think that my older model tracks oil life, but I read you use SETUP to get to the oil life, then hold RESET to reset the timer.

Its in the owners manual, if its like the 2010.

look again. I think it is as simple as cycling through display to oil life.. then holding down reset.

On my 13, you just set the oil life back up to 100%

Yup, I think you have to hold it for 3-5 seconds.

Push the "setup" button until it says "Oil Life X%" (may be less than 5%), then hit the "reset" button. It should reset it back to 100%.
