Default How to insulate 05 from exhaust noise?

I installed Pypes axle backs on my 05 GT. I love the sound but would like to insulate away some of the drone I get at about 2000 rpm. Any suggestions? Thanks ahead for any replies.

+1.
Try sounddeadnershowdown.com for good info on sound deadening and using MLV to kill sound. MLV works great, 1 layer across the trunk should do it.

I put sound deadener in my trunk but it just made the sound deeper without making it quieter. You want to break up that drone, you'll need resonators welded in, staggered, in front of your axle.

Install some staggered resonators upstream to kill the drone.

Stinger Roadkill. It's good stuff, butyl rubber and cheaper than dynamat.
