Default Stereo upgrade is done!

Kenwood DDX-471, Pioneer TS-A6885R 6" X 8" 4-Way front door speakers, Infinity 682.11CF 6x8's in the rear, 10 inch Rockville 800 watt sub (trunk), Polk PA330 for the front speakers (mounted under the dash) and another PA330 for the rear's (mounted in the trunk along with the sub amp). I'm sure everyone know's a bout the Polk amps but the Rockville amps are worth the money for a low dollar sub, does a GREAT job..

SOUNDS AMAZING!!

I tried to get some pics but, they did not come out clear, I need to take some pics outside but, the amp under the dash will be hard because of where it is. Its mounted just behind and below the glove box.

For what its worth, here are the pics I took in the garage tonight.

You can see the aluminum bracket I made, the front amp is mounted to that.

Amp and sub in the trunk mounted from the package try framework.

The OEM stuff I ripped out, speakers, subs and the amps in the driver side kick panel were all junk!

Very Impressive!! Btw, I bought 4 of Pioneer TS-A6885R 6" X 8 for my F150, haven't put them in yet. Glad to know you think they sound good. Bet you ran a lot of wire for this set up!

Its been endless wires.. lol Along with doing this upgrade, I also relocated the battery to the trunk. So, I have been up close and personal with the interior. lol

Where did you tap into the front/rear speaker wires, or did you just run all new wiring?

Looks good Nick! I like the framework you did for the amp placements.

Where did you place the Subwoofer in the trunk?

The blue sub amp you see in the trunk also houses the 10 in sub..
Its a great little sub and just enough punch to rattle your trunk but not so much to sound like a ricer.

Just finished up putting the console, glove box and stuff back together and when I was at it, ran new low input shielded cables front and rear (I'm a sucker for punishment). The sound is beyond words.

Do you notice that the highs are really harsh sometimes with those pioneers?
I think i have the same one just without an amp yet and it seems some of the high sounds (like people pronouncing "s") are pretty harsh. Even if I turn the treble down its a bit annoying at times.
