Default Paint on steering wheel control buttons

I have a 2012. The black paint on the cruise control and radio button has worn through at the edges and looks crappy. I can't believe the poor quality paint Ford used.

Is there an easy way to touch it up without a major hassle and have it look like new?

you have sandpaper for fingers? haha. My 2010 seems to be holding up jus fine. However, my wife's 2010 fusion a/c control buttons are peeling, probably because she uses her fingernails and doesn't take care of the car in general... oh, oops, a little of a tangent there...
