Default Question about X pipe and tune

I am going to get these today, but I read somewhere I will need additional hardware..... Is that the case? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/su.../model/mustang

Also, I just bought a tuner/cai from AM with their special and should have first half of next week.

Am I safe to install/drive for a few days until tuner arrives? This is about the only time I'll have over next few weeks to install.

Thanks for your input!

Your fine. You have a wideband in the car, it won't run too lean.

Does anyone know if I will need new hardware, if so, size? Not sure if OE cats have bolts attached to them or not.

You can install the CAI without a tube for a whike but it's not worth it honestly, be patient and just do it at the same time. The Cai alone won't do anything really, and it's not worth running to rich or lean (possibly throwing a code) regardless of it not doing damage which it most likely won't.... Just do it together at the same time

Meant X pipe only. Bought tuner and CAI together and they will get installed together.

Man, it's too loud. Not sure I'll keep it this way. May try OE mufflers with O/R H or go back to cats.

Either way, I still have magnaflow catback and BBK after cat X pipe if anyone interested in local pickup only.
